Fake Decoy Speed Cameras
More cities are resorting to using fake speed cameras to deter drivers from speeding. If you look closely inside these boxes there is no actual speed camera inside. The empty white box above costs about $2500 apiece. Cities like Laurel, Maryland are a great example of how people are using them. We think this is a trend that will likely continue as it reduces the costs of maintenance and likely has a similar outcome on slowing drivers down. Which states allow speed cameras?
