Arizona law aims to redefine street intersections for red-light runners.
Current law defines the intersection as the imaginary line even with curbs (the dotted-white line). Under the new legislation, if you can get your front bumper across the stop line (the red) before the light turns red, you're safe -- even if you have not yet entered what is now considered the intersection.
